Equifax Ignite Live - helping businesses to navigate in an era of uncertainty
Equifax, a global data, analytics and technology company and leading provider of insights in Australia, will this week host Ignite Live, a virtual event designed to help businesses operate with confidence in an era of uncertainty.
Across Australia and New Zealand, there are some good signs of economic recovery with some improvements in business and consumer confidence and credit demand from the September to December quarter 2020. However, there are still many uncertainties for 2021, especially as government stimulus is wound back from March.
Ignite Live, on Thursday 25 February, is part of a global Equifax initiative which commenced in the U.S. in 2020. The event showcases how predictive data and analytics are more important than ever and shares actionable insights, strategies and solutions to equip businesses for the future. Featuring inspiring keynotes and lively panel sessions, Ignite Live 2021 is an interactive virtual conference with both live and on-demand sessions.
Kari Mastropasqua, Executive General Manager, Data and Analytics, A/NZ said, “With pressures upon businesses, that customers could never have predicted 12 months ago, Ignite Live focusses on helping our customers navigate through these uncertain times. The agenda is packed with industry experts and thought leaders in data, analytics and technology as we tackle challenges of doing business in a disrupted marketplace.”
Ignite Live will host a global line up of speakers including:
• Paul Bloxham, Chief Economist HSBC who will share data-driven insights and discusses the impact of the pandemic on business and consumers. Paul will talk to what we’ve experienced here in Australia and importantly; look forward to where things might be headed.
• Equifax global experts, Prasanna Dhore, Global Head of Data & Analytics, Sriram Tirunellayi, VP Global Identity and Fraud and Lisa Nelson, Group Managing Director A/NZ.
• Local experts showcased include Marcus Oakley, Chief Risk Officer, Now Finance, Tony Bird, Head of Risk at Australian Finance Group along with Jason Humphrey, Chief Risk Officer ANZ and Lawrence Maxwell, Head of Retail Credit at Kiwibank.
Attendees range from data scientists and analysts, risk managers, those in regulatory, marketing, banking & finance, FinTech, insurance, telco and utilities.
“While the magnitude of uncertainty as a result of the pandemic has grown, the approach is the same; close the gap on uncertainty and quantify the risk. Do this and you can re-build confidence and empower decision making. In 2021, insight will be critical in making confident decisions, and this is at the core of the Ignite Live event” said Mastropasqua.
