Amazon Web Services and Visa will join Bank of Queensland, National Australia Bank, EY and BDO as corporate sponsors of FinTech Australia.

“Our fintech ecosystem is built on the back of partnerships,” FinTech general manager Rebecca Schot-Guppy said.

“Not only does our corporate partner program help FinTech Australia run a robust support program for the sector, but it build strong relationships between fintechs and major companies that can lead to partnerships and other business endeavours,” Schot-Guppy said.

“In addition to supporting major FinTech Australia activities and events, the partnership program helps embed these companies within the fintech ecosystem and networks them with its key players.”

Fintechs continue to redefine the payments experience to meet changing business and consumer demands, according to Visa head of partnerships and innovation Anthony Jones.

“As a network built on partnerships, Visa looks forward to partnering with FinTech Australia, and continuing to bring our global insight and experience to bear for the interest of Australian fintechs and the payments ecosystem more broadly,” he said.
