ING awarded most trusted bank..again

ING Australia has won the most trusted bank, a second year in a row at the Australian Banking Innovation Awards.

The awards were announced virtually by RFi Group managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Julien Wilson. 

He said the awards were an opportunity to recognise the valuable work of people and organisations through what has been a challenging year.

“At RFi Group we are always working to support our clients whether that is through data driven actionable insights or events such as the Australia Banking Innovation Summit and Awards,” Wilson said. 

“So we are, of course, delighted to congratulate all the winners of highly contested Australian Banking Innovation Awards”, he said. 

“The competition this year has been really pleasing as not only does it reflect the outstanding skills and achievements of the banking and finance professionals who operate in what is a dynamic and at times challenging industry.

“In particular, this year, saw the sector not only embrace but pivot their businesses to support their customers while also keeping their relentless focus on innovation.

“This year we continued to see a lift in the quality and number of submissions and the winners and indeed all finalists should be proud of their accomplishments this year. A big thank you goes out to the Judges and everyone who submitted.”

ING Australia head of retail bank Melanie Evans said it was an honour to be acknowledged.
