Jablko leaves ANZ
ANZ CFO Michelle Jablko will leave the bank to join toll road operator Transurban.
She was hired in the job in 2016, an appointment which spurred a brief spat between a broking house and the bank.
Jablko became a director of ANZ Bank New Zealand in 2018.
“It was an incredibly tough decision to leave ANZ, however I am looking forward to putting my experiences to use in another industry,” Jablko said in a statement.
According to ANZ CEO Shayne Elliott, Michelle should be “incredibly proud” of her achievements at ANZ.
“As a highly strategic CFO, she has transformed our finance function while also being instrumental in the simplification and strengthening of the organization,” Elliott said.
“She will always remain a good friend of the bank and I personally thank her for her considerable contribution over the past four and a half years.”
