PEXA and Send team up to streamline multi-currency property transactions

International payments and foreign exchange service, Send Payments, has joined forces with digital property exchange company, PEXA, to streamline multi-currency property transactions.

The move will enable Australian property lawyers and conveyancers to seamlessly facilitate multi-currency property transactions on behalf of overseas clients.

According to Send, it will provide consumers with a faster, cost-efficient solution to previously complex settlements.

Lisa Dowie, PEXA’s chief customer officer, says the collaboration addresses a key friction point in the digital settlement of properties, the transfer of funds overseas.

Paul Billing, CEO of Send, describes the collaboration as “a perfect example of enterprises coming together to further enhance and extend value offering for their respective industries”.

“International currency transfers is a fiercely competitive marketplace and we’ve worked closely with the PEXA team to solve some existing challenges and provide a seamless experience for practitioners within the industry,” he says.

Send’s offering includes FX API which can be implemented with tailored to meet partner requirements.
